Jilian;

Carrie and I wanted to tell you how unbelievably happy we were with you and the band at our wedding. From the beginning not only did you respond to all of our needs with marked professionalism and grace, but with a rare service minded mentality not often found in today's environment.

With so much else to worry about in regards to planning the wedding, it was a most comforting feeling knowing that such an integral part of the evening was in such good hands with you and the band at our service.

As for the music; it was just perfect. We have received nothing but wonderful feedback about everything regarding the band; how energetic you were, how appropriate, tasteful, personal; you name it! Diggin' Me was incredible, and True Love absolutely blew my parents away along with all their life-long friends who were at both theirs and our weddings!

I could go on forever, but suffice to say that anytime you need a reference, you know you can count on Carrie and I. Thank you again so much for being such a special part of the best day of our lives.

Dear Jilian -

We would like to express our thanks to you and each of the members of HotHouse for providing the musical backdrop to what many of our guests have referred to as the most enjoyable wedding reception they have ever attended. Every one of the follow up calls received by our parents, and by us, has included a glowing review of your band’s amazing and spirited performance. Teg and I completely concur with these accolades, as we found that most of our interaction with our guests took place on the dance floor!

As you recall, the Nor’ Easter that passed through West Point that evening made getting to the reception hall an adventure. Increased security on the post injected more negative energy into the event by introducing unexpected travel delays in and around the Military Academy. Hot House was able to redirect that energy in a positive direction by providing five hours of dancing enjoyment. Your masterful blending of upbeat songs and beautiful ballads demonstrated a keen awareness of audience interest and energy level. Every guest, regardless of age, musical taste, or availability of dance partners, had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the band to the maximum. And your choice of “Magic Carpet Ride” as the closing song was a great crowd pleaser.

Jilian, I appreciate how easy you were to work with in the planning of our
reception: for providing insight and recommendations on the song list and
for assuming such a significant role in planning and coordinating with the
reception hall. Your customer focus is unquestionable and is unique in my
experience with other facets of the wedding planning.

I would also like to thank you for the wonderful gift you gave us: the
recording of our “first dance” song. We have enjoyed replaying it many times since the wedding and it brings back such beautiful memories of the most special day of our lives together. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

Teg and I feel extremely fortunate to have had you and HotHouse perform at our wedding. One of our guests commented that she considered it a rare treat to have a band perform at a wedding, in lieu of a DJ, and that she enjoyed the experience more than any other wedding she had attended. We appreciate the rare treat you provided for our wedding guests, and for us, and we would recommend you with great enthusiasm to anyone who is interested in a crowd-pleasing performance as part of their special event.
